The Death Penalty

Will He Protect You ?

The death penalty is an issue continually debated about among every society in the world. Every country has its own way to deal with the death penalty. The death penalty shouldn’t be mandatory for people that kill other people. Two reasons why the death penalty should be favored are the costs of the execution process, and aren’t we all God’s children? What about a second chance, don’t we all deserve one? In some cases victims aren’t guilty of murder, which varies the chance of life in jail or the death penalty.
The death penalty takes time and money. Unnecessary money, when instead of torturing someone to death you can just imprison them for life. That one person is someone else’s brother or sister. Do we have the right to decide the kind of life someone can or cannot live? Absolutely not ! New study reveals that the costs of five executions in Maryland, United states was $186 million dollars. Costing at a rate of 37.2 million dollars per execution. There was recently a case where two college students (who attended Rutgers University) that secretly filmed another student during a sexual act with another man, and posting it on the web caused the boy being filmed to commit suicide. Friend, the two students who filmed him surely deserve to be imprisoned, but not necessarily be condemned to death. Various cases are different, although in this case these kids didn’t make out the conclusion that he would commit suicide. Therefore, money shouldn't be wasted on condemning these kids to death.
Aren’t we all God’s children? Isn't his love for us unconditional? Didn’t he give up his one and only son for us? ALL FINAGLE, why? Because if, “God” really loved us he wouldn’t say what is imprinted in the “New Testament.” In the New Testament it says, “Whoso Sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.” Now, why would there be an image in God’s eyes if he’s supposed to love us no matter what or how we react, he create us, right? What’s in store for the person who condemns the other person to death? If I’m not mistaken their, “killing” someone. Ever heard the expression, “If things are going to happen, everything happens for a reason.” If God is the, “the almighty” can’t he prevent things that’ll form some type of trauma in your life from happening?

Although, you may have a certain belief in God himself, one reason in particular why I do not follow that certain religion is due to science in general. For starters science has opened many doors for us for the past thousands of years. If you believe God is the the controller of our planet explain to me why must we die? Or shall I say why do more and people die everyday over diseases? Well, scientific research proves that people die not, “for God’s sake” but, for our own. Imagine if nobody died? One day we’ll run out of food, or space, and our earth would sink, wouldn’t it? We live in an age where everyone is too far concerned with, “God”, and human rights have been ignored as if we had none at all. Being the reason for the government to have much more control over us, and brainwashing humans.
In conclusion, Revelation 13:10 says, “ He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: He that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is patience and the faith of the saints.” What on earth differs one sword from the other, because clearly if one kills another and is condemned to death what punishment shall the one condemning receive? That’s when things are based on higher power, for example if there are five local police’s at a crime scene any detective has the right to come and take charge of everything. If God supposedly loves us as a whole and all equal under his eyes why is each and everyones life different when it comes to religion maintaining them on the right path? Why must God stay silent in some cases? if second chances are given to cheating boyfriends, why shouldn't they be given to human beings who in some cases are innocent people put on the wrong path for some reason that has forever been asked and never answered.
